Trend UGC pricing in 2026 with cost per video by credit pack
Trend sells UGC through prepaid credit packages. Its pricing page lists four packs, from $550 for 60 credits (up to 6 videos) to $3,872 for 560 credits (up to 56 videos), and credits expire 12 months after purchase. That works out to between $69 and $92 per video. Here is the full table, how credits map to creators, and when a pay per campaign marketplace comes out cheaper.
The short answer
Trend has no subscription. You buy a credit package, spend credits to hire creators, and the content comes with full licensing and distribution rights according to Trend's pricing page. The more credits you buy, the lower the price per credit. A brand buying about ten videos a quarter pays close to $75 per video on the 140 credit pack, and a brand buying fifty or more pays about $69 on the largest pack. The catch is the prepayment and the 12 month expiry.
Trend credit packs and cost per video
Everything below comes from Trend's public pricing page as checked in November 2026. Trend also advertises a code for 10% off a first credit package and discounts on large packages, so ask before you buy.
| Pack | Price | Videos | Photos | Per video | Per photo |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 60 credits | $550 | up to 6 | up to 15 | $91.67 | $36.67 |
| 140 credits | $1,045 | up to 14 | up to 35 | $74.64 | $29.86 |
| 280 credits | $1,980 | up to 28 | up to 70 | $70.71 | $28.29 |
| 560 credits | $3,872 | up to 56 | up to 140 | $69.14 | $27.66 |
A video costs about 10 credits and a photo about 4, going by the pack table. Credits expire 12 months after purchase.
How Trend credits turn into creators
Trend explains that a Creator Credit costs about $9.16 before volume discounts. Hiring a creator costs 20, 40 or 60 credits depending on their skill level, and each hire produces 5 photos or 2 videos when you start a project. After that you can buy more assets from the same creator with credits.
So the price per video depends on who you hire. A 20 credit creator delivering 2 videos works out near $92 a video at the entry price per credit, while a 60 credit creator is far more. The pack table is the best case when you spend every credit on the cheapest tier.
Trend does not publish what the creator keeps from each credit. If creator earnings matter to you, because better paid creators answer faster and film more carefully, you have no number to judge from.
What a real batch costs on Trend
Say you need ten videos for a product launch.
| Option | You pay | Comment |
|---|---|---|
| Two 60 credit packs | $1,100 | 12 videos of credit, 2 spare |
| One 140 credit pack | $1,045 | 14 videos of credit, 4 spare that expire in 12 months |
| Use only what you need | about $746 | 10 videos at $74.64, but you still paid $1,045 up front |
The spare credits are not wasted if you will buy again within a year. If you will not, the effective price for ten videos is $104.50 each. Credits you cannot spend are the real cost of a pack system.
Trend against a flat fee marketplace
On UgcBoard there are no packs. You set the payout in the brief, fund the campaign, and a flat 15% platform fee sits inside the budget. At a $75 payout, ten videos cost $882, and at $55 they cost $647. Whatever is left over goes back to you, fee included.
At equal creator pay the numbers favor Trend's big packs, because Trend's bundled price per video is lower than a $75 payout plus a 15% fee ($88.24). The difference is what you know. On Trend you do not know what the creator keeps. On UgcBoard you see it on the campaign card, and you can pay less for simple unboxings. See the Trend alternative comparison for the full table.
A fair rule: if you buy 50 or more standardized videos a year and will use every credit, price Trend's larger packs. If your volume is uneven, or you want to set the payout and the license term per job, a pay per campaign model avoids the prepayment.
Who should buy which option
Pick Trend if
You want photos and videos at a fixed unit price, you buy often enough to use the credits within a year and you do not need to set what creators earn.
Pick UgcBoard if
You sell to US buyers, you run campaigns in bursts, you want to set the payout yourself and you want the license, the term and the paid ads rights written into every job. For ad creative, the UGC ads guide shows the rights checklist.
Ask before you pay
Ask Trend what the first purchase discount is, whether credits can be refunded and what the creator receives. Whichever platform you pick, check the license wording before you run a video as a paid ad.
What to do with the footage
Once the videos are in, most brands cut hooks and test variants. A tool such as an AI ad generator that turns a product link into video ads can produce extra variants to test beside the creator footage, so one batch of ten videos goes further.
How to run your first batch without a pack
1. Post the brief
Write the product, deliverables, hooks, formats, usage rights, payout and deadlines. Use the brief guide if you want a worked example.
2. Fund the campaign
Send the budget by ACH or wire. The campaign goes live as soon as the transfer posts.
3. Pick and approve
Creators apply with a portfolio and a rate. Select the ones you want, review the videos and approve. Payouts and your license start on approval.
Trend UGC pricing questions
How much does Trend UGC cost?
Trend sells prepaid credit packs. The 60 credit pack is $550 for up to 6 videos, the 140 credit pack is $1,045 for up to 14, the 280 credit pack is $1,980 for up to 28 and the 560 credit pack is $3,872 for up to 56. Per video that is $91.67 down to $69.14.
Do Trend credits expire?
Yes. Trend states that credits expire 12 months after purchase. If you buy a pack larger than your next twelve months of content, the unused credits are lost, which raises your real cost per video.
Does Trend have a monthly subscription?
No. Trend is sold as credit packages, not a monthly plan, and every package includes the same core features according to its pricing page.
What do Trend creators get paid?
Trend does not publish the creator share of each credit. Creators are hired at 20, 40 or 60 credits per project depending on skill, but the page does not state what the creator keeps.
Is there a cheaper alternative to Trend?
For brands buying fewer than about 50 videos a year, or with uneven volume, a marketplace with no packs can cost less, because you fund only the campaign you run. At a $55 payout, ten videos on UgcBoard cost $647 including the 15% fee.
