Creator agreement
These standard terms apply to every campaign a creator accepts on UgcBoard. The campaign details (deliverables, usage rights, deadlines, revision rounds and payout) come from the brief and are shown in the app before you accept.

1. Eligibility
1.1.You are at least 18 years old and have completed identity and age verification.
1.2.You have a US bank account and have provided accurate tax details (W-9) to our payout provider.
2. The work
2.1.You create the deliverables described in the campaign details yourself, with original footage.
2.2.You follow the brief, including key messages, things to avoid and any required disclosures.
2.3.You don't make claims about the product that you know are false or that the brief prohibits.
2.4.You don't include other people's copyrighted music, logos or recognizable people without permission.
3. Deadlines and revisions
3.1.You deliver all deliverables by the deadline, which counts from product delivery for shipped products.
3.2.You complete the revision rounds in the campaign details when requests point to the brief, within 3 days per round.
3.3.You may decline requests that go beyond the brief without any effect on payment.
3.4.Late delivery and missing work are handled under the Campaign rules.
4. Ownership and license
4.1.You keep the copyright in your deliverables.
4.2.When the payout for your spot starts, you grant the brand a non exclusive license to use the deliverables as set out in the campaign details: the channels, organic or paid use, the term, whitelisting and raw footage.
4.3.Where whitelisting is included, you authorize the brand to run ads from your handle for the agreed term, using the platform tools for that purpose.
4.4.The brand may edit the deliverables for the licensed uses, for example cutting lengths or adding captions, but may not use your likeness beyond the license.
4.5.You may show the deliverables in your portfolio after the brand has published them, unless the campaign details say otherwise.
5. Payment
5.1.The payout shown on the campaign card is held in escrow and is what you receive. No fee is taken from it.
5.2.The payout starts automatically when your delivery is approved, by the brand or automatically after the 5 day review window.
5.3.You are responsible for your own taxes. Tax forms are issued through our payout provider where required.
6. Product
Products shipped for a campaign are yours to keep unless the campaign details say they must be returned.
7. Independent contractor
You work as an independent contractor. You choose how and when you work within the deadlines.
8. Confidentiality
You keep unreleased product details and brief contents confidential until the brand publishes the content or the campaign ends.
