UgcBoard

Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of ugcboard.com and the UgcBoard service. By creating an account you agree to them, to the Campaign rules and to the agreement for your role (Brand agreement or Creator agreement).

Last updated October 10, 2026

1. Who we are

UgcBoard is an online marketplace operated under the UgcBoard name at ugcboard.com by the administrator of the ugcboard.com service. You can reach us at [email protected].

2. Accounts

2.1.You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

2.2.Creators must complete identity and age verification before applying to campaigns.

2.3.You keep your login details secure and are responsible for activity on your account.

2.4.Information you give us, including tax and bank details given to our payout provider, must be accurate and current.

2.5.Agencies may use one account for several client brands and are responsible for having authority to act for each of them.

3. What UgcBoard does

3.1.UgcBoard lets brands publish campaigns, lets creators apply, generates agreements between them, holds campaign funds in escrow and releases payouts under the Campaign rules.

3.2.UgcBoard is not a party to the content agreement between a brand and a creator, except for the payment and escrow terms it administers.

3.3.Creators are independent contractors of the brands they work with. Nothing in these Terms makes a creator an employee of UgcBoard or of a brand.

4. Fees and payments

4.1.UgcBoard charges a platform fee of 15% of each funded campaign budget. There are no subscriptions and no other fees from UgcBoard.

4.2.Brands fund campaigns by US bank transfer before they go live. Funds are held in escrow until they are paid out for approved work or returned under the Campaign rules.

4.3.The fee is kept only for approved work. Amounts returned under the Campaign rules include the fee.

4.4.Creators receive 85% of the budget per creator, shown as the payout on the campaign card. Payouts are made by ACH to a verified US bank account through our payout provider.

4.5.Brands receive an invoice for each funded campaign. Creators receive a payout confirmation. Tax forms are issued through our payout provider where required.

5. Staying on the platform

Brands and creators who meet through UgcBoard agree not to arrange paid UGC work for that brand off the platform for 12 months after first contact, in order to avoid escrow or the fee. Breaking this rule can lead to account suspension.

6. Content and conduct

6.1.You are responsible for the content you post, including briefs, profiles, portfolios and deliverables.

6.2.You may not post content in banned categories (adult content, weapons, drugs, gambling where it is illegal, unproven health claims), content that infringes others' rights, or misleading claims.

6.3.Briefs and profiles are checked automatically, and we may remove content or suspend accounts that break these Terms.

6.4.Brands must follow advertising rules that apply to their ads, including disclosure of paid endorsements where required.

6.5.Creators grant UgcBoard a limited right to show their profile and portfolio on the platform. Rights in deliverables pass to brands only under the agreement for each campaign.

7. Disputes between users

Disputes between a brand and a creator are resolved under the published Campaign rules. Cases the rules don't cover go to an exception review, decided on the agreement and the records in the app.

8. Liability

8.1.We provide the service as it is and work to keep it available and secure, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted.

8.2.We are not responsible for how a brand uses licensed content or for the products a brand promotes.

8.3.To the extent allowed by law, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the platform fees you paid us, or that were charged on your campaigns, in the 12 months before the claim.

8.4.Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Ending your account

You may close your account at any time from your settings once no campaign is in progress. Funds held in escrow are settled under the Campaign rules first. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will tell you by email before material changes take effect. Campaigns already funded continue under the terms in force when they were funded.
