Choose from creators who apply to your brief, review portfolios and match scores, and pay for approved work. Set payout and usage rights before selection to compare applications against the same job.
UgcBoard is a two sided UGC marketplace. Brands post paid campaigns and fund them into escrow, creators apply, and the platform handles the agreement, approval and payout. The flat 15% platform fee is included in the funded budget, with no subscription or additional creator fee.
Choose from creators who apply to your brief, review portfolios and match scores, and pay for approved work. Set payout and usage rights before selection to compare applications against the same job.
See the real payout before applying, film to a clear brief and get paid automatically after approval. No second fee comes out of that payout. Money is already in escrow before work starts.
Start with your product category, then check portfolio examples in the format you need. Niche helps you shortlist; delivery on camera helps you choose.
Watch examples of the actual deliverable you want, such as a demo or unboxing. If you find a suitable creator, invite them to your funded campaign, or post a brief and review ranked applications.
Define deliverables, formats, hooks and deadlines. Name the usage platforms, paid ads term, whitelisting and raw footage you need. Include the shots and messages your reviewer checks later.
Choose creator payouts and fund the full budget by US bank transfer, ACH or wire. The campaign goes live when the transfer posts. The 15% fee sits inside the budget, and each creator sees their actual payout.
Compare applications, portfolios, pitches and match scores. You make the final selection. An agreement generated from campaign data records deliverables, rights, deadlines, revisions and payout. Selection is final when both sides accept it in the app.
For physical products, ship within 7 days of the agreement and add tracking. Review complete deliveries within 5 days. Request only revisions covered by the brief, with as many rounds as agreed, up to two.
Approval starts the automatic payout and activates your license. If you neither approve nor request a revision within 5 days, approval happens automatically. Download the files and use them on the platforms and for the term recorded in the agreement.
The fee is included in this $1,000 funded budget, rather than added to creator payouts.
| Item | Amount |
|---|---|
| Total funded campaign budget | $1,000 |
| Platform fee, 15% of funded budget | $150 |
| Creator payouts in total | $850 |
| Additional fee paid by creators | $0 |
Creators receive the payout shown on the campaign card. There is no subscription. Product and shipping costs sit outside the campaign budget. Unfilled spots and eligible cancellations return with the fee included under the published rules. Approved work is not refunded.
These labels overlap. A marketplace connects brands and creators, while a platform describes the software around the job. UgcBoard does both. An agency adds managed work, which can suit a team that wants someone else to handle sourcing and production.
| Buying route | What you manage | Where it fits |
|---|---|---|
| UGC marketplace | Brief, creator selection and review | Brands that want to choose creators and set payouts |
| UGC platform | Brief and approvals, with workflow depending on the service | Teams comparing per video packs, subscriptions or campaign fees |
| UGC agency | Brief and feedback through an agency | Teams that want managed sourcing and editing under a retainer or package |
Check who selects creators, which rights are included, what revisions cover and how unused budget is handled.
Competitor pricing is verified in October 2026. Compare both brand charges and creator deductions. Fee bases and commitments differ, so the listed percentages alone do not show the total cost.
| Service | Brand pricing | Creator fee | Where it wins |
|---|---|---|---|
| UgcBoard | No subscription, 15% inside the funded campaign budget | No additional fee | Set your payout and fund campaigns as needed |
| Collabstr | $0 plan with 10% hiring fee; Pro $249/month billed annually with 10%; Premium $333/month billed annually with 5% | 15% | Lower published brand hiring percentage, especially on Premium |
| Insense | Brand $500/month quarterly or $400/month annually, plus 10%; trial $650 with 20% | Not specified here | Subscription model for steady monthly production |
| JoinBrands | $0 pay as you go plan with 15%; paid plans $99 to $499/month with 12% to 8% | 20% | Paid tiers reduce the brand fee for recurring work |
| Billo | From $99 per video in prepaid packs | Not specified here | A per video starting price for pack buyers |
A lower percentage can require a recurring plan. A prepaid pack ties purchases to a menu. UgcBoard lets you set payouts without a monthly commitment.
Keep feedback tied to the agreed brief. A new script or extra video falls outside a revision request unless it is part of that brief. If a delivery still fails the agreement after revisions, rejection starts an exception review. See the trust page and published rules.
A UGC marketplace connects brands with creators who make content for ads and product pages. On UgcBoard, brands post a funded brief, creators apply, and the brand selects who to hire. The same workflow handles the agreement, delivery, approval and automatic payout, with usage rights written into each hire.
UgcBoard charges a flat 15% inside the funded campaign budget, with no subscription or additional creator fee. A $1,000 funded campaign includes a $150 platform fee and $850 in creator payouts. Other marketplaces use subscriptions, hiring fees or prepaid video packs, so compare the total against the deliverables and rights you need.
The best UGC marketplace depends on your budget, production schedule and preferred buying model. UgcBoard fits brands that want to set creator payouts, use escrow and avoid a subscription. Billo offers prepaid video packs, while Collabstr and JoinBrands offer plans with different hiring fees. Compare rights and workflow alongside price.
A UGC marketplace suits brands that want to choose creators and manage the brief and review themselves. An agency suits teams that want managed sourcing and editing. On UgcBoard, agreements, escrow and payouts are handled in the app, but your team still selects creators and checks deliveries against the brief.
Find creators by niche and deliverable format, then review portfolio examples that match your brief. On UgcBoard, profiles show typical rates, platforms and whitelisting availability. Post a funded campaign to receive ranked applications, or invite a creator you like. Match scores help you shortlist, while the final selection stays with you.
Your usage rights come from the agreement, so payment alone does not mean unlimited ownership. UgcBoard generates a license from your campaign brief covering the selected platforms, paid ads term, whitelisting and raw footage. That license becomes active when payout starts. Specify the uses you need before selecting creators.
Put your brief in front of US creators, fund it in escrow and choose from the applications.
