How a UGC marketplace works on UgcBoard
UgcBoard runs every campaign through the same workflow: the brand funds the brief into escrow, creators apply, an agreement is generated, videos are delivered and approved, and payouts go out automatically.
For brands
-
1. Post a campaign
Describe the product, the deliverables (video length, hooks, formats), the usage rights, the creator requirements, the payout per creator, the number of creators and the deadlines. Posting is free.
-
2. Fund by US bank transfer
Each campaign gets its own account number for an ACH or wire transfer. When the transfer posts, the campaign goes live automatically and the funds stay in escrow.
-
3. Review applications
Creators apply with a portfolio, a short pitch and their rate. A match score ranks every application against your requirements.
-
4. Select creators and sign
The agreement is generated from your brief: scope, license, deadlines and revision rounds. Both sides accept it in the app.
-
5. Ship the product
Add the tracking number in the app. Delivery deadlines count from the day the product arrives. Digital products skip this step.
-
6. Review and request revisions
Comment on each video and request up to two revision rounds, as set in the brief.
-
7. Approve
Approve the delivery, or it is approved automatically when the 5 day review window passes. The creator is paid and your license becomes active.
For creators
-
1. Create your profile
Add your portfolio, niches, platforms and rates.
-
2. Verify identity and age
UgcBoard works only with creators who are 18 or older.
-
3. Add payout and tax details
Connect a US bank account and complete your W-9 once through our payout provider.
-
4. Apply to campaigns
Filter the board by niche, payout, deliverable, shipping and deadline, and apply in one step.
-
5. Film and deliver
Accept the agreement, receive the product, deliver in the app and handle revisions inside the brief.
-
6. Get paid
After approval the payout starts automatically by ACH. Transfers usually arrive within 1 to 3 business days.
