Listing demo videos
A 30 to 60 second video that shows the product out of the box, in use and at the size it really is. You can ask for horizontal 16:9 or square 1:1 in the brief, so the file fits the listing's video block without cropping.
UgcBoard is a UGC marketplace where Amazon sellers post a brief, ship the product to US creators and buy licensed product videos for the listing and Sponsored Brands ads. You set the payout per creator, the budget is held in escrow until you approve, and the only charge is a flat 15% inside that budget.
Amazon UGC is a short product video filmed by a real person, usually on a phone, that a seller uploads to the listing's video block, uses in Sponsored Brands video ads or adds to A+ content. The usual way to get it is to pay creators directly through a marketplace and get a written license, because Amazon's own creator programs pay on commission and don't let you direct the script. On UgcBoard a six creator batch at $170 each costs $1,200 in total, fee included.

A tighter 15 to 30 second version that opens on the problem in the first three seconds. Add hook variations to the deliverables and you get several openings from the same shoot to test in Campaign Manager.
The same creator can film a 9:16 version for TikTok Shop, Instagram and your Amazon storefront posts. One agreement lists every platform you will run it on.
Tick raw footage in the brief when your editor wants to cut the clips into A+ modules, brand story sections or a main image video.
You set the payout per creator yourself. The 15% platform fee sits inside the budget you fund, and creators pay nothing, so the number on the campaign card is what each creator takes home.
| Batch | Budget you fund | Platform fee, 15% | Each creator receives |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3 creators, one 45 second demo each | $600 | $90 | $170 |
| 6 creators, demo plus 2 hook variations each | $1,800 | $270 | $255 |
| 10 creators, demo, vertical cut and raw footage each | $4,000 | $600 | $340 |
| 4 creators, demo with a 12 month paid ads license | $1,600 | $240 | $340 |
Your product and the cost of shipping it to each creator are on top. Run your own numbers in the UGC budget calculator, and see the full fee breakdown on UGC platform pricing.
Write what the video must show: the product, the main benefit, the objection buyers raise in your reviews, the length, the format and where you will run it. Pick Amazon in the usage platforms and choose the paid ads term if you will use it in Sponsored ads. Our UGC brief structure lists what creators need from you.
Send the budget by ACH or wire to the account shown for your campaign. The brief goes live on the board when the transfer posts, and you get an invoice for it.
US creators apply with a portfolio, a short pitch and their rate, ranked by how well they match your niche and format. Select the ones you want, then ship the product within 7 days and add the tracking number.
You review each file, ask for up to two revision rounds and approve. The creator is paid from escrow and your license starts. Download the file and upload it in Seller Central under Upload and Manage Videos, or add it to a Sponsored Brands video campaign.
Amazon's commission based creator programs let creators decide what to film and where it shows up. A paid brief lets you insist on the size shot, the setup steps or the comparison buyers keep asking about in your questions section.
Every hire comes with an agreement generated from your brief that names the platforms, the paid ads term of 3, 6 or 12 months and whether whitelisting and raw footage are included. If Amazon or a reseller ever asks where a video came from, you have the document.
Many sellers need a burst of videos before Prime Day or Q4 and nothing in March. There are no plans or seats here, you pay only when you fund a campaign, and budget for spots you don't fill comes back to you.
Buyers on amazon.com respond to kitchens, bathrooms and garages that look like theirs. Creators applying to your brief are in the US, so the product ships domestically and arrives in days.
Amazon prohibits paying for or incentivizing customer reviews, and that includes video reviews. Paid UGC belongs in content you control and upload as the seller: the listing's video block, A+ content, your Brand Store, posts and ads. Never ask a creator to buy the product and post a review, and don't reward review videos with free product. Video uploads to the main listing block generally require Brand Registry, and the final word on file specs is the Seller Central upload screen, which currently accepts MP4 and MOV files with 1080p as the usual target.

Brands with a handful of hero ASINs that need a demo on every listing and fresh hooks for Sponsored Brands each quarter.
Teams that want one shoot to cover the listing, the Shopify product page and Meta ads under one license.
Agencies managing several seller accounts can run each client in its own workspace and get one invoice per client at the same 15%.
Sellers who already buy vertical creator clips and now need horizontal and square cuts for amazon.com.
Amazon UGC is user generated content made for an Amazon product: demo videos, unboxings, comparisons and photos filmed by real people. Sellers add it to the listing video block, A+ content, Brand Stores and Sponsored Brands ads. Paid UGC comes with a license, which is different from a customer review.
Most US creators charge $100 to $300 for a single 30 to 60 second product video, more for hook variations, raw footage or a long paid ads license. On UgcBoard you set the payout, and the 15% fee is inside the budget, so six videos at $170 per creator cost $1,200 in total.
Yes, as long as you upload them yourself as the seller and hold a license that covers Amazon. Paid creators must not post the video as a customer review, because Amazon bans compensated reviews. On UgcBoard you pick Amazon as a usage platform, and it is written into each agreement.
For the main video block on the detail page, Amazon generally requires Brand Registry. Sellers without it have fewer upload options, so check the Upload and Manage Videos screen in Seller Central for your account. Sponsored Brands video ads also need Brand Registry.
Horizontal 16:9 or square 1:1 at 1080p in MP4 or MOV covers the listing and most ad placements. Keep it between 30 and 60 seconds, show the product in the first two seconds and add captions, since many shoppers watch with the sound off.
They do different jobs. An influencer on the Amazon Influencer Program films what they choose and earns commission, so you can't plan on a specific video. Paid UGC gives you the exact demo you brief, delivered on a deadline, with rights to run it in ads.
Post the brief for free, fund it when you are ready, and approve each video before a creator is paid.
